Yep, happened to me while I was queuing... TWICE! Both on the same day but on different rides (Mr Freeze and Runaway Mountain). Both times they took too long to announce its temporary closure. Your average car is a deathtrap by comparison.

She was too heavy for the ride and the restraints couldn’t lock correctly due to her weight. The ride operators let her ride anyway. The ride didn’t do this, the negligence of the ride operators did.

yea being locked into the ride is exactly the thing that helps me get over the mental fear of that first drop. and a recent trip to a local amusement park showed me i need to drop weight so i can ride them. what i like parks doing to help larger people avoid needless long waits are test seats. lets you know if you fit or not before you get in line and if you have a fear off heights like me it lets you test how snug you feel in the seat.

Park's at fault. Even with fully maintained coasters, If someone is too short, too fat, too big for the roller coaster seats, they should not be allowed on the ride. Also Seat belts should always be on all coasters in cases lap bars or shoulder bars fails.

This is why I don’t go to amusement park I don’t want to watch someone die or die myself

So basically, if people learned to follow the rules, ride operators never let rules slide, and park management never went cheap on maintenance to save a few dollars, pretty much nobody would ever be in a roller coaster accident.

obese people elderly people pregnant women and small children AND ADULT MIDGETS can't ride roller coasters for a reason. Fat people under G forces are multiplied their weight so the harness can't handle it, small people slip out of the harness, old people have strokes too easily and the ride can't stop in time for them, do I need to say why its bad for pregnant women to? Am I in trouble for forgetting pregnant men now since your all fat woke and inclusive? The only way we are gonna stop fat people from dying on rides is to point out OUT OF LOVE that they are too fat for MANY MANY JOYS IN LIFE not just roller coasters. This poor kid was fed wrong and encouraged to be lazy by school video games and parents. This is a problem for all society. How many unnecessary deaths from fatness do we need? We are leaders in heart disease and diabetes. Who needs to die by a roller coaster when you got that to look forward to. His parents should be sued for child abuse, which led to him dying from his obesity. Roller coaster instead of heart attack at 17 or leg amputation at 25 from diabetes leaving him crippled entirely. Compared to how most fat people die he died having fun compared to most.

I was thinking about going on the one at Steel Pier if we go there while my friends and I are in Atlantic City this 4th of July. After watching this video though, I have decided that it’s not worth the risk of injury or even death. Thank you for preventing me from making what could’ve possibly been the worst decision I ever made.

One time we went to Kings Dominion at July 26 2022 it’s raining when we left home before we arrive then when we are here it stopped and when we enter until when we rode the racer 75 it’s start 🌧️ and ⛈️ and we left to go home

What ticks me off the most about this ride is if you are a woman with naturally wide hips, you can just get the seat belt fastened. If you put on a little weight, you have to take the walk of shame. I thankfully got it fastened the last time I was on it. Let's put it this way, Kim Kardashian would need to take the walk of shame despite not being overweight. Yes, she's had a BBL, but she is not overweight...and that's my point. My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the families who lost loved ones. It happened years ago, but I'm sure they are still greatly missed.

Well it did happen at 4:20 so…

It was a really rough ride, It had sections like a wash board, where it would jolt you up and down real fast… not good for the vertebrae.. everyone who rode it got a Chiropractic adjustment whether they wanted one or not.. The discomfort totally overshadowed any thrill you wanted to experience from it..

i wonder if the rebrand to bizzaro had anything to do with this

Ayyy Riverside ... yeah I remember this one... the real terrifying coaster was the one over at Mt. park.. I rode it when I was super young, right before the park closed, I thought we were going of the rails any second for the whole ride.. sooo rickety

Tried the one at adventure dome in vegas a few years ago and i was hooked instantly ive done the one at Hershey Park, Carowinds and the one in Pigeon Forge.

We have one at Playland in Vancouver and it's the world's best flat ride. There are MANY programs of setting the parks/operators can use depending on crowds too. The "extreme" setting is max swings forever (at least it feels like forever); which happened to me once on an empty day in 2018.

Good to know when i rode Delirium last year for the first time its the OG huss giant frisbee. And on the Zamperla note i love the endeavour after riding Sol Spin at Kings Island
